Rescue Activities for North Korean Defector Youth in China

a. Purpose
The goal of this project is to involve youth and student leaders in activities that demonstrate love and support for young North Korean defectors who are victims of human rights violations under the North Korean regime. Through participation, these students will be prepared and educated to become key contributors to a unified Korea in the future.
b. Project Details
This activity aims to cover the costs associated with rescuing young North Korean defectors and operating shelters in China for these youths. Schools and organizations wishing to participate will submit applications annually.

Scholarship Program for North Korean Defector Youth

a. Purpose
The purpose of this project is to establish and provide scholarships for North Korean defector youth (elementary, middle, and high school students) in our society as a small model of unification, built together by the youth of South and North Korea.
b. Project Details
The project involves selecting six North Korean defector youth annually from among the applicants submitted by schools or organizations participating in the scholarship program, providing scholarships to three selected recipients each year.
