We cherish the human rights of North Korean residents, aspire to the democratization of North Korean society, and dream of the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
We are building a paradise of freedom, democracy, and human rights. In the vast desert, where the end is nowhere in sight, an oasis is absolutely essential. People call a paradise in the desert, where water flows, trees bear green leaves, and fruits hang abundantly, an oasis. In such oases, you often find wells and pumps installed to draw water from deep springs. At the well, there are buckets used to draw water, while at the pump, there is usually a small amount of water placed to prime the pump, allowing it to draw water from the deep spring. This small amount of water is commonly referred to as "priming water." Our Youth Forum of North Korea Democratization is a leadership group of youth from both South and North Korea, committed to leading the future development of democracy in North Korean society. We, the members of the forum, are dedicated to fulfilling the mission of creating an oasis of freedom, democracy, and human rights in the barren desert-like land of North Korea. Though we may be just a small bucket of priming water for now, this single bucket will inspire the flow of two buckets and more to come. We sincerely ask for your active support and encouragement.
